Dr. Vikesh Sharma is an economist, researcher, and educator currently serving as an Assistant Professor at RV University, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar. His doctoral research, titled β€œEnergy Choice, Livelihoods, and Conservation Nexus: A Case Study of Kaimur Wildlife Sanctuary in Bihar, India”, examined the interconnections between household energy transitions, rural livelihoods, and biodiversity conservation in ecologically sensitive regions.

His research lies at the intersection of development, sustainability, energy transitions, and environmental governance.
